I was admitted on ward S12 at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary for an operation on an ulcer in my nose. Prior to the operation, I saw the anesthetist, as he was concerned about my blood pressure. I was given a tarmazipan tablet to work in conjunction with my own medication. During the operation, I had a very heavy nosebleed. I was kept in overnight as a precaution. I received nothing but care and concern during my brief stay, from the consultant through to the cleaners. I was very happy to be in the care of all at the DRI.
