"Pain Management Clinic."

I was extremely anxious with regard to my first visit to the pain management clinic at King' s Mill hospital after some negative experiences previously at another hospital. My appointment was on a Saturday at 2pm with the consultant who called me in after 1 minute of my arrival ! I cannot praise him highly enough, he listened carefully to my every word , responding with empathy and care. He discussed his plan of treatment with me explaining it thoroughly and made sure that I was happy with it. Whilst he was extremely efficient at no point was I rushed during my appointment. My overall experience was extremely positive leaving me feeling that I was valued as a patient and not just a 'number'. I mentioned my surprise that a clinic was held on a Saturday and was impressed that this is done to try to limit patients waiting time to get an appointment. I found King' s Mill hospital to a high standard, clean, bright and clearly signposted even down to which lift to use for a particular clinic/ward. I have never written a review for a hospital or indeed a doctor before but felt compelled to after such a good experience .... so thank you. Kind Regards Mrs Tracey D
