As a system process engineer, designing and implementing sometimes for organisations, the total service process is totally inadequate.

Insufficient number of suppliers.

Too long a time to get a service.

Urgency in relation to working impact not recognised.

Poor focus on the patient.

Thank you for providing feedback to TRAQS.

TRAQS was established in June 2012 at the request of GPs in the Telford and Wrekin area to ensure that all patients receive a choice of where to attend for their first out patient appointment when being referred by their GP for further care. The TRAQS leaflet fully explains how TRAQS works and what an individual patient may expect when a referral is made by their GP.

TRAQS offer a choice of hospitals and local community clinics (when appropriate) to the patient. We rely upon the referring GP to provide accurate information to ensure that the patient is seen in the correct clinic first time. We are however, reliant upon the hospital to provide appointments slots to us to allow us to offer date/times for the patient. Locally the hospitals are undergoing longer than expected waits for appointments due to a higher than expected referral rate. This does affect our ability to offer local appointments and some patient do have to wait longer than they would wish before being seen.
