"Consultations, scans and Sigmoidoscopy at BIH..."

The management of this hospital (Berkshire Independent Hospital) is outstanding. There are many fewer non medical staff than NHS Trust hospitals such as Royal Berks, but the BIH staff are all unfailingly polite, professional and efficient. BIH is a glowing example of what NHS hospitals should be, but sadly are not. I am a former governor of Gloucestershire NHS Trust Hospitals and a former volunteer at Royal Berks NHS Trust Hospital. Every BIH staff member introduced themselves and either asked what they could do to help or explained their role and what they were about to do, then did exactly what they said. If only all nhs treatment could be to the high standard of Berkshire Independent Hospital
