I was a patient on swinley ward in early January when I had a hysterectomy. The ward was clean and tidy and the staff excellent. I was treated with respect and kindness at all times. The nurses, student nurses, doctors and support staff all work very hard and do long hours. They were caring and professional, uniforms smart and clean ( not always the case these days!). The ward was well run and the team worked well together. Even the food was decent enough, with the housekeeping staff cheerful and helpful. This hospital ( and the NHS in general ) often gets a bad press, but I am happy to say I have no complaints whatsoever. Give yourselves a pat on the back Swinley ward, you are a great team. You made a stressful time more bearable and I felt safe in your care. Take note NHS managers!
"swinley ward-fantastic team!"
