"Saddened The clinic may be moving"

Dear reviewer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about the diabetes clinic at Leicester Royal Infirmary, we have shared your kind words of praise about the high level of care with the team. With regards to your concerns about the clinic moving to Leicester General Hospital, I would like to reassure you that this has been widely discussed among the Diabetes Team with our senior management team as well as at several public consultation events. We are very sorry if you were not aware of these meetings when they were hosted. We have also done our best to share these potential changes with all patients who use the clinics via the patient survey currently available in clinic itself. This has proved to be a very good way of enabling patients to be directly involved in feedback. We appreciate how important it is to communicate changes to the service with our patients, especially to those who will be directly affected, and further information will be shared as widely and publicly as possible. We will of course ensure that when the move goes ahead we will ensure that the standard and quality of care will continue to be high for all of our patients.
