"Both the paramedics and the ambulance crew were very good"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

I had to call the 999 service for my wife. The operator asked all sorts of questions to identify the right service I needed and sent paramedic to see my wife.

The paramedics carried out an initial examination and felt an ambulance would be needed to get my wife to hospital. They called for an ambulance which arrived very quickly. My wife was taken to Swindon A&E.

Both the paramedics and the ambulance crew were very good.

Dear Built969

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your wife is feeling much better.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto the ambulance crew who came to your wife's aid. In order to do this I will need to know the date and address that the ambulance attended. Could you please contact me, at your convenience, at laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk?

Kind regards
