"care at Leeds General Infirmary"

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Gastroenterology

(as a relative),

My partner is being seen as an outpatient at the LGI. Following tests she was told that nothing was physically wrong and that her condition was psychological. At her follow up appointment she was told (by the same doctor) that there may be a physical problem. She is worried that thedoctor is giving her mixed messages. She is also aware that there is an expensive medical procedure that may help her condition and she is concerned that the doctor may be steering her away from this because of the cost. She does not feel that she can complain because the doctor is the gatekeeper to services.
