"Not very happy"

About: Torbay Hospital

I was rushed into Torbay hospital on my way from Southampton to Penzance as I collapsed with horrendous back pain and leg pain and couldn't physically walk, they kept me in for one night giving me pain relief of gas and air, morphine, tramadol, diclofenic and paracetamols, the next day I was told I was being discharged as they do not keep anyone in for more than one night with "just back pain" although I was still in horrendous pain and physically unable to walk, my sister in law had to come and pick me up for a very long painful car journey back to Southampton, even the nurse was unhappy to send me home but the consultant had discharged me, I feel I should have been taken to another ward until I was physically able to get home or walk at least! When I got home I called my own GP out to see me and she was not impressed that the discharge papers I was given from Torbay had no information on whatsoever, not even my name or when I was taken in or what medications had been given to me, she also she hadn't had any fax or anything from the hospital to say I had been there!
