"Awesome team work"

Our son swallowed a coin that had become lodged in his food pipe. We were seen in children's a&e within 20 mins on a busy Saturday morning. X-rays and surgery were organised swiftly and we cannot praise the staff highly enough. The porters and operating department were especially great with one odp seeing me the next morning and asking how our little man was doing. Above and beyond! A few of the nursing staff on F1 could have been a little more friendly but I put this down to a long shift, most were excellent. The anaesthetist was great, letting our boy watch despicable me on his personal phone from the pre op area through to falling asleep to distract him. All round could not ask for more! A huge thank you from William and his (very tired) mummy xx
