(as the patient),

My right shoulder has been causing me discomfort/pain for four months. I saw my GP in the second month and had injections. My shoulder seemed to improve a bit initially, but then I was back to disturbed sleep because of it.

I again saw my GP at the end of December when he administered a local anaesthetic into the shoulder. He arrange for me to have an x-ray and said he would arrange physiotherapy at Newport Cottage Clinic.

My letter from TRAQS was dated late December, saying a referral had been received. The clinic booked an appointment with me for January 2014, which proved to be excellent – very useful exercises printed out. Treatment given.

Another appointment next week, was told it would take another 12 weeks to heal.
