I was a recent day case in Ward 6, heartlands Hospital, Birmingham - for an angiogram and an angioplasty. Everything went well and I was discharged around six o'clock pm, the same day.
I cannot speak highly enough of the levels of professionalism and patient care - and of the general good humoured and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble, either for me, or for the other patients around me.
Everyone, from the senior surgeons to the nurses and all of the support staff were wonderful - and they all have my warmest and sincere thanks for making my short stay as enjoyable as it could be, under the circumstances.
Nurses Linda and Joe I would like to thank particularly, for the ten out of ten service!
"Staff were good humoured and there was a welcoming atmosphere"
