was priviledged to see the amazing cardiac unit at work.Staff were fantastic although as an employer myself would have to say groosly understaffed and overworked with insufficient space to accomodate the numbers of patients.Considering all this I was at no time made to feel that my husbands care and attention was compromised as they all simply up'd there own standards to maintain the duty of care.worked like a swiss watch,slick,mature caring and motivated by the desire to improve the patients experience.All procedures were explained and his post operative care was total and regular with so much care given to ensuring his safe recovery.I am now passionately for maintaining the NHS as it should be and will be joining forces with "save the NHS".to see this wonderful gift in action is worth fighting forand I will be shouting my mouth off about this to all who will listen.Thankyou to all the wonderful much maligned nurses and doctors who we will only realise how brilliant they and the system is when it is pulled apart by governments who have little regard to the need of the people for it !!!
