"No empathy, no urgency - just avoid"

About: The Royal London Hospital

I went in reluctantly with acute food poisoning. I was passed to 4 people whilst there and had to explain and answer the same questions to each one. They didn't tell me what was going on but would just listen and go away for a while and then come back. All while I was in terrible pain. Extremely thirsty from losing so much fluid. In the end I was given an injection and told to drink diralytes. The nurse just left and when I asked if I should leave she said 'I think so'. Went home in agony and after some hours called the nhs direct line. A doctor called me back and told me the correct way to replace fluid and I was fine. I'm such a fan of nurses/doctors and what they do but this was just awful. No empathy - you were just a thing they had to deal with.
