About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

My Mum was rushed to Hospital this morning & she was in severe pain. When she was finally seen she was told my the staff it is probably gallstones, they did test etc.. no sign of the stones & could not give my mum an explanation of why she was in Pain! she was then told they would like to keep her in over night for observation, she waited & waited & waited only be told there is no beds available in the ward & they would need to send her home!!!! I don't live in Darlington so it is not like I can just pop over & see my Mum to make sure she is ok!! I do however expect a bit more from this Hospital & feel for any patient that goes through the ordeal of what my Mum went through. How about you buy more beds & don't tell your patients they have something without the proper tests results & if you don't have a bed in the Whole Hospital for somebody who you have told needs to stay then other arrangements should me made!!!
