"Good and not so good"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Was taken in because of high heart rate and low bp.Im 35 . I was given basic bloods and they decided it was a uti. The next day I was home..getting more sick by the hour. I went to a and e and waited 8hours to see a doc..they reviewed my bloods and admitted me. The doctor did not understand why I had been discharged since I had an infection that they should of kept an eye on. Turns our I had something possibly viral too but my bloids were so bad they sent them to London. Feeling better, I returned home. While there I told them I suffer M.E ...sufferers typically are noise sensitive and have weak immune systems. I was placed in a noisey ward with the elderly despite my bloods showing I had litte immune system. My bed was not changed and I was not informed about what they were giving me meds wise, the toilet was never cleaned and night time there was only one doc on call and 3 ward nurses..hospitals should be 24 hour care. Weak young people should not be placed with the elderly who typically catch c diff and viruses. It was so noisey I could not sleep a single night...people with M.E can not live that way as we end up in a wheelchair...Having said this most of the nurses were great. I only found some nurses and staff very rude and offensive ..the rest were fantastic. Staff levels are very low especially during the night. It is sad hospitals are run like city businees..sickness is not 9-5.
