"My sons care in day surgery"

(as the patient),

My son was admitted for day surgery for a knee arthroscopy. I cannot begin to comprehend how well the staff including the ward manager Karen McLelland showed the utmost care and attention to my son who was really nervous and apprehensive prior to surgery,

I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care given on that day, they are a credit to the NHS, well done and thank you sincerely

Dear Gil,

As a mum myself I know how much of a worry it is when your child (regardless of their age) is ill or undergoing any procedure, so I am delighted that your son had a good experience at Wishaw. I am sure as his mum this made you feel much better also.

I know Karen will be delighted with your comments and I will make sure that I feed this back to her personally.

In the meantime I hope your son is not in pain and that he will recover quickly. if we can do anything at all to help please do not hesitate to contact me or indeed the team at Wishaw.
