"My 89yr old mother's stay in Ward 4"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

My mother was admitted to Ward 4 with suspected adhesions and not in a good cognitive state. She was treated with respect and care for the whole of her ten day stay. The staff always spoke kindly and they treated her caringly and I was deeply grateful to them. They were always busy but smiled and greeted as they passed and importantly she didn't have to wait long if she needed to be taken to the loo. She felt very safe there and I saw the good effect of the same staff working their rota's with few bank staff brought in. They got to know my mother and she was happy to see them. Overall an excellent experience for which we are very grateful.

Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to write to give praise to the staff who cared for your mother during her recent inpatient stay at Musgrove Park Hospital. It is always a pleasure to receive commendations such as yours and I thank you for your kind comments which I will pass on to the staff involved with your mother’s care; positive feedback is much appreciated by our staff. I hope this finds your mother making a good recovery. Lucille Hoose. PALS Lead
