"A&e and mental health"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I suffer from depression and at times get very low. I phoned 111 and they sent a paramedic who was lovely and treated me with respect and care. I had to wait a long time in a&e as there was only one triage nurse! She was so busy and rushing about all over the place, yet took the time to talk to me, and was patient and concerned. I wish I could thank her personally for making my visit less scary. A lot of nurses ignored me, and looked at me with disgust, but she was so nice she made me cry. Thank you to this particular nurse.
