"Lack of care relating to my hysterectomy "

About: Rotherham Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Dr and anaesthetist not agreed on block in my back, this lead to argument, before I was put to sleep. After leaving recovery, no care or help given at all although they were asked nicely by family to change my gown to nightdress, my family were told they would do it soon. The sheets on the bed were covered in blood, no help came.

There was no drink or food the next day. I waited as I was told I would be took to the bathroom, this never happened. I was in pain, weak and dizzy so took myself. I was told I was going home that day but could not believe it as I felt so ill.

I packed my stuff with the little energy I had left, since then i have had my own GP to visit me twice and then been back to hospital.

I ended up with 4 different antibiotics and after 10 days on them I'm still ill.

I would not go to Rotherham hospital again.
