Recent emergency visit by ambulance to Lister hospital , Please lets not knock the NHS was treated with such care and attention from the ambulance crew to the doctors and nurses , first class . keep up the good work amazing even at 4.30 am in the morning , the staff should be congratulated on the service they offer to the public ,amazing ,thank you

Thank you so much for your kind words. We know that a trip to the emergency department - especially in the middle of the night - can be frightening and bewildering. Though we can't take the credit for the ambulance service which is run by a separate part of the NHS, we're so proud of our emergency teams here at the Lister and know that they'll say they're just doing their job when they read your comments (but secretly, they'll be thrilled!). So many thanks for taking the trouble to get in touch, and we hope we don't need to see you again in the emergency department too soon!
