"PUJ obstruction, sepsis and a pyeloplasty of my..."

About: Leicester General Hospital

I was 1st admitted early October 2013, via a transfer from the emergency department of the LRI. The treatment was first class, and what was a very scary time was made easier by all the staff of ward 28. From the cleaning staff to the consultants you could not ask for a more caring team of staff, I had a naphrostomy bag fitted the same day as my admission, was then moved to ward 29 a couple of days later due to lack of room on the ward, this however still showed the high level of care I was used to reciving. With a further submission tho the LGH in November, the standard of care continued to be high and I came back for my procedure (left kidney pyeloplasty ) on the 6th Jan 2014. Even thou my recovery was in a different part of the hospital this time (ward 21 I belive - I'm a bit fuzzy on this due to the meds I was on at the time) I can again only praise you all. Thank you for all you did for me on each visit, all I saw was great team work under pressure, Along with due care and attention and above all a very clean, well organised environment.
