"Physio on my back"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

The service I had at the PRH was brilliant. It was the first time I had physio and was really nervous. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a male and ended up with one and his mentor.

I get nervous easy and they put me at ease really quick. I had a dizzy spell when it was my first session, they calmed me down, gave me a drink and kept checking on me. They were both fantastic, asked lots of questions and tried narrowing everything down.

Unfortunately the physio didn't help so they referred me back to the doctors and they've referred me to another clinic and one for my dizzy spells.

Hello Gromit Thanks for sharing your experience of physiotherapy at the Princess Royal Hospital. I'm really please to hear that even though you were nervous, and were hoping that it wasn't going to be a male physiotherapist, the therapist and his mentor did in fact make you feel at ease. But, I'm also sad to hear that this hasn't sorted out the problem so hopefully your doctors will help get to the bottom of this and get you on thre road to recovery. Thanks again for letting us know about the "brilliant" service. I have written your kind words onto one of our "Thank You" cards and will make sure that either I or another member of the Board and Executive Team deliver this in person to the physio team at PRH. Thank you Adrian Osborne, Communications Director
