"4 months later and still no diagnosis - Podiatry"

About: Norwich Community Hospital

1 x-ray, 1 ultrasound, 2 blood tests and a MRI scan and still no diagnosis. 4 months after my original appointment, my symptoms have gotten progressively worse and I feel I am being pushed aside. At my last follow up appointment the podiatry unit stated they were hoping my symptoms would just simply go away. However despite the fact they are getting worse, there is still no real urgency to assisting me and I have been given no clear direction as to how they will diagnose or resolve the situation. The only treatment the hospital have offered is physio - which is a joke as I am a trained sports therapist myself. I know physio will not relieve my symptoms. I work in a professional sporting enviornment and this is now affecting my work as well as my own training. I have mentioned this to the podiatry unit several times and this seems to be completely disregarded. I have had to call time and time again for results and to chase for follow up appointments. There is really no service being delivered by the hospital in any way and despite voicing my complaints to staff I am still being disregarded. I will be calling again today for some idea direction but no doubt I will still be none the wiser. I want a diagnosis as soon as possible and I would like the details for whom I should lodge a formal complaint with.
