I have been a service provider for the NHS for 32 years, and unfortunately I was seriously ill about 3 months ago and was treated at Royal Preston Hospital. I guess you can say that I'm an "expert secret shopper" as I know what is to be expected I have nothing but praise for all the staff on the surgical unit. This includes medical, nursing, paramedical, and housekeeping. All my expectations were met. Being a patient is very difficult and credit to the staff for looking after all the patients so well. Thank you and congratulations Ward 11, Royal Preston Hospital, I can see why you have won Beacon awards, as you display an equal regard for science and caring. This I think emanates from the Leadership of the Consultants and the Sisters on the ward.
"Excellent patient centred care on ward 11 surgical..."
