"i could take my mobile phone in ..."

About: Salford Royal

(as the patient),

What I liked

i could take my mobile phone in to keep in touch with my family.

What could be improved

the staff could have been better mannered, particularly some of the students. the communication between drs and nurses was poor, especially regarding discharge.

Anything else?

i was in a room that had a broken air con unit so had 2 very noisy portable units. outside there was building work which meant the bay was extremely noisy. despite the doctor saying they wanted the bay closing, it was still open when i left 4 days later.

Many thanks for your feedback - it is valued and fedback to our internal teams. As you may be aware the Trust is investing some £200M to improve Salford Royal Hospitals facilities for patients, visitors and staff - and we thankyou for your patience with our building work during this time. If you would like to discuss your experience in further detail, feel free to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service at 0161-206 2003 / pals@srft.nhs.uk
