"Exceptional care"

About: University Hospital Aintree

My 16yr old daughter was brought to A&E by ambulance as she is considered too old for Alder Hey, I cannot fault the care and attention given to her by the staff. She was in extreme pain as she'd dislocated her knee and we had waited for 50 mins for an ambulance, thankfully the care delivered by the A&E and radiology staff was excellent and all I can say is thank you for taking care of my little girl and helping her. Only negative point is the access to and from A&E - it was a nightmare trying to get her to the car on crutches, wearing a full leg brace and it also leave me with the same 'access to depts headache' when I take her to fracture clinic in a few days time. But the main point I wish to make is thank you Aintree A&E.

We're very pleased to hear that your daughter was so well cared for by our staff. Thanks for taking the time to send this message, which we'll happily pass on to the staff involved.
