"Waited too long for treatment for skin cancer"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

Waited for far too long from initial visit with Dr to eventually getting treatment.

Dr’s appointment was the end of June. Treatment the beginning of November.

This is skin cancer, where time is the essence.

We are concerned to read your comments but TRAQS follows the instructions of the referring GP who is able to refer suspected cancer patients via an alternative route.

I cannot speak for the GP as to why they referred you via TRAQS but as the responses are anonymous we do not have any information to enable us to investigate your concerns further.
