Waiting over 6 weeks for physio appointment

"Waiting over 6 weeks for physio appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

GP appointment was in October, where GP said would send referral to physio.

As still not heard about referral by November, called GP practice who said referral was noted on screen but referral not completed.

Achieved referral time around 2 weeks, which means I am waiting over 6 weeks for physio appointment.

Very bad customer/patient care received by GP.

I am sorry that your referral has not proceeded as you would have expected or within an acceptable timescale.

Obviously I am unable to comment on the service you received from your GP Practice, however, I am assuming that once your referral was received by TRAQS it was processed quickly.

I hope you will soon start to feel the benefit of your treatment.
