"Request for patient records"

About: Helston Community Hospital

Well I should have realised when all the published phone numbers were incorrect and the only person who had one that worked was the Treliske switchboard that you would get everything else wrong too! Despite being informed in my first complaint that I hold my mother's power of attorney, the same being supplied by email, two weeks after requesting my mother's records I am still being told she must sign a form!! Are these people volunteers? I hope we are not wasting taxpayers money on such ignorant nonsense, not to mention the doubtless hugely expensive encryption program which is utilised for communications which are entirely meaningless and could in no way be considered sensitive or private. I can appreciate the powers that think they are probably do not want her records released but despite your apparent view that you can issue life or death at will and are therefore above the law of the land this is simply not so.
