"A& E Recuss and Stroke Ward"

I am writing to ask you to pass my thanks on to the team working in A&E on the afternoon and evening of Monday 6th January. My mother was taken ill at her nursing home. On arrival at St Peter's she and I were both treated with great dignity and kindness by all the staff we encountered - from the student nurse to the consultant. I was kept informed at all times of my mother's progress and diagnosis and allowed to stay with her, although for much of the time she was unresponsive. Her transfer to the stroke ward was smooth and professional, and once again, we cannot praise the staff highly enough. So many people complain about the hospital service; the service offered to my mother deserves nothing but plaudits. Many thanks,
