I attended the Day Case Unit on 31st January at 1pm. Was taken on to the ward within 10 minutes. The ward was clean, tidy and well equiped. The nursing staff were all cheerful and very efficient in preparing myself and five other patients for our treatment. The anethetist was friendly efficient and reassuring. The surgeon also equally helpful explaining the procedure and answering my questions without any rush. At 2pm. I went into theatre. At 2.50pm. I awoke in recovery, 30minutes later was back on the ward soon being served with tea and toast. By 6.30pm I was back home. Throughout I was treated efficiently with respect and consideration in a very clean and tidy environment. My Pre. and Post Op appointments at the Treatment Centre were equally as good.
