"Short stay."

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

My father was taken into the Royal infirmary by ambulance. He is elderly and gets easily confused and worried when in unfamiliar surroundings. He was taken firstly into A&E - the nursing staff were excellent - they were compassionate and caring. Next into CCU - extremely busy department but again professional in their care of my father. Then dad went to ward 8. Reassured by security on this ward. The nursing staff were kind and dad was actually supported to ensure his personal hygiene and was even shaved: Dad needed a cast on his lower arm -fracture clinic staff were super. Back on the ward the physiotherapist saw dad and then rang myself to ensure she had the correct information. really cannot fault the nursing and support staff who supported dad. Thank you.
