"Excellent care!"

This was the first time I have been a patient at Leicester General and I cannot begin to describe how lovely everyone has been, from the healthcare staff to the surgeons. The standard of care in the gynaecology department was outstanding and despite my poor level of English (my granddaughter is writing this on my behalf) they were incredibly accommodating and I have now been safely discharged after a mere four days, an incredible achievement after a rather complicated operation. So I would like to thank the consultant and her team of assistants, together with the nurses in Ward 31 for showing once again that the NHS offers one of, if not perhaps the best healthcare systems in Europe.
