"Xmas visit"

I was admitted to Broomfield Hospital on the 22nd of Dec with a serious infection in my finger that had spread to the top part of my hand. It was an awful thing to happen so close to Xmas but everyone at Broomfield made me feel that it wasn't so bad after all by their care and attention. Everyone I came into contact with was extremely professional and kind, explaining everything to me. I had to have surgery on my hand to remove the infection and was allowed out on Xmas Eve. Yesterday I was discharged after several outpatient appointments which were also with excellent professionals. They have been super, making sure I am OK throughout.
