"Undermanned A&E"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

My over all opinion of the hospital is good however I find it appalling that a busy A&E department is left so terribly undermanned I attended A&E this evening 7/2/14 and while waiting we where told that there was only one Dr dealing with patients and that the would be a minimum wait of 4 hour and that this was likely to get longer Patients left in pain and discomfort due to serious undermanning Asking patients to leave, go see a GP or come back when it's less busy! Some patients having already waited 3 hours them having to wait a further 4 How is this exceptable ?
