"Thank you to the nursing staff on Loxley ward"

I was a patient on Loxley ward at the Nottingham City hospital following a hysterectomy. The general standard of care which I received, particularly from the nursing staff, was most impressive.

However, I do feel that the porter who took me down to theatre could have been a little more considerate. He took me down to theatre and left me alongside some washed down trollies in a cold and draughty area that the porters work in, without any warm blankets. I was there for up to 1 hour and had to ask for blankets because I was so cold.
