"incoherent information"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a relative),

I rang at early evening recently to inquire after my mother, following a frantic phone call from my sister. I spoke to the person in charge of the ward, in the background I could hear a doctor shouting out "I, m not speaking to her" the the person who was in charge was completely unable to provide any coherent information, the person seemed to not have a clue as to what was going on. The person could not even manage to tell me what was written in my mothers notes! ! ! The member of staff just kept repeating "call back tomorrow"

This person is in charge of a ward! !

Dear Maxi

I am sorry that the person in charge of the ward was not able to give you the information you wanted when you rang. Could I ask you to let me the name of the ward and when it happened so that we can follow up. My email address is fiona.allsop@sash.nhs.uk

Many thanks

Fiona
