I have visited Medway over the past four years on numerous occasions as both my husband and I have been treated there for cancer. My last visit was 29 January and i was in for day surgery in the Sunderland day unit. As usual the staff were amazing, my nurse particularly so. She put me at ease throughout the morning even though I was really nervous. The doctors were brilliant, really informative and took their time to explain and listen to my concerns. Staff made me feel relaxed as they talked to me throughout the morning, even when I went to the theatre they were still chatting to me as I went to sleep! I could not have asked for better care on the day and this has been mine and my husbands experience over the last four years when we have both been unwell and have visited many departments throughout the hospital. Thank you.
