"Wonderful care"

The nurse and doctor in A&E were very thorough and quick to assess my sick child. The nurse showed us to the children's day unit on ward 21 where the medical staff couldn't do enough for us. They showed a genuine care for my child; playing, talking and singing to him. From being admitted to the children's ward, the care my child received was second to none. We couldn't fault anything about it. The staff were very attentive in what was, at times, a very stretched and busy ward. They closely observed and monitored him and some systems in place are invaluable for parents; we were even offered some rest bite when we needed a little break. The staff worked extremely well together and they always kept us very informed of my child's condition and treatment. This is an amazing ward and I have nothing but admiration for the work they do.
