"As a young person aged 17 I felt ..."

About: South Tyneside District Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

As a young person aged 17 I felt that I was treated with respect and consideration and fully involved in decisions about my care rather than being talked down to. As a result I felt that I had the chance to make the right decisons and was really grateful for the kindness and consideration I was shown. I was seen and treated promptly, all the options and risks were explained to me, I was given good treatment and closely monitored while taking the medicine which was prescribed. I was very happy with the outcome and would feel confident to go back to this hospital for my care. everyone was lovely from start to finish
