"Cancer care"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

On 16/012/2013 i was asked by my doctor to provide a urine sample due to a problem that i had at the time.18/12/2013 results came back with a potential problem i agreed to go to Medway for tests. 24/12/2013 camera inserted small cancers found staff excellent in explaining and re-assuring. New years eve attended pre operation review. Booked in for 10/01/2013 for operation to remove cancers , again staff were excellant after care faultless. CT Scan carried out week and a half later . Meeting with the surgeon in charge of my case , he explained results of biopsy and CT Scan and that all appears to be well now but that i need to attend 3 monthly checks. As can be seen from the above the treatment and support that i received at Medway Maritime Hospital is second to non and on a personal level i have nothing but praise for the medical staff at the hospital who were positvly supported by the administrive support. This is a genuine revew which i am extremelly happy and gratefull to be able to provide.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with an overview of your recent patient experience. I am extremely pleased to hear that your experience was positive and that everyone involved in your care met your expectations. It is important for us to receive good feedback to enable us to share good practices across the Trust. I will forward your comments onto the team, as they will be delighted to receive these.
