"waiting hours are unaceptable"

I went today for a Maternity assessment Unit in order to get checked by one of the doctors as my community midwife refer me over there as I was having strong braxton hicks, and I waited 6 hours to see the doctor, this was a disgrace that someone in this condition has to wait such a long hours in order to get checked, something could have happened to my baby or to me. I went over three occasions asking some update on when the doctor is about to see me, and even receptionist ( they have been great I have to say) but they even did not know what happened to the doctors. This should not been happening and it is such ashamed as the reform on the department it is great and very good looking and then the service was down as there was no doctors available for 6 hours, there was other women also in the waiting area with pains and low fetal movements and it was incredible the lack of communication and cooperation from the doctors. what a disgrace!! and disappointment!! this is going to be raise to local council in order to investigate this poor service.
