"Total Waste of time"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I was rushed into SAU by a Walk-In Centre in Tipton with suspected Appendicitis. I went straight to SAU in agonizing pain and throwing up. Was left 3 hours with no one seeing me before my father complained when a doctor came to see me and gave me some pain relief. Was taken to B4 after waiting in SAU for 6 hours. After blood tests, swabs and ultrasounds I was being thrown between surgical and gynaecological. Finally let out after being starved for 3 days with a 30 day course of antibiotics. 3 days later I was back in again via A&E with the same agonizing pain. This time I was taken to B4 where I had the same treatment as B3 however this time they doctors decided to not talk to me about what they were doing and left me starving. It got to the point where I go PALS involved! Left the hospital with no diagnosis again 4 days later. Still in pain I may add. Follow up appointment in January with the surgical consultant from the first visit to the hospital, informs me they aren't going to do anything and that I just have to deal with the pain that I am still experiencing (Jan 29th today). I had to fight for them to do an MRI scan to try and find out what is causing me all this discomfort that is essentially stopping me from living my life as I wish as I am in pain all of the time! As yet (two weeks on) I am still waiting for a MRI Scan appointment. I am very reluctant to ever use this hospital again as I was made to feel like a hindrance on the doctors time rather than a patient that had come to the hospital for some help! Thanks for nothing Russell's Hall.
