I was urgently referred by my doctor to the hospital with a post menopausal bleed. The hospital phoned with an appointment just a week after seeing my doctor. I saw a doctor who was lovely and I had a scan and then a biopsy. I was then to wait 2 weeks for my results. However the doctor phoned me 3 days later to let me know that nothing malignant was found and advised that, either I could leave things for now and wait and see or that I could have a hysteroscopy to check more thoroughly and to remove anything found. I decided to have a hysteroscopy and expected to wait a while. However, just 4 days later I was phoned offering me a cancellation for the following day. I saw a consultant who was very kind and the procedure was carried out with little discomfort. In just 2 weeks I was seen and treated and given the all clear. I can't praise the doctor, consultant, the nurses and reception staff enough as everyone was very caring. Thank you to everyone for speedy and professional treatment.
