What could be improved? as a relative of patient was treated poorly, not involved in fathers care or informed of any treatment, decisions or results of a tribunal. Nurses say it is up to Dr to inform us the distraught relatives , my mother and I sat for over 2.5 hrs to be ignored by medical, social workers and solicators. Anything else? staff treated us with disrespect and offered no information or support at a very distressing time. the only time one member of staff spoke to my mother it was in the day room with other patients and relatives what happened to patient confidentiality and looking after the whole family.
