Last week i had to go to A&E because of severe pains in the chest and rib area. It took about 2 minutes to get called through by a nurser who then led me to a bed. She did paperwork and an ECG. I then got moved because there was a baby coming in and she told me that she didn't want me getting annoyed or something as the baby was crying a lot. I was fine with this. When we went to get the doctor it took over 30 minutes for the doctor to see us! I wasn't happy with this as i was in a massive amount of pain and wasn't given any painkillers to help. She asked me a lot of questions then went to get painkillers, which of course took her another 30 minutes! I got sent home with stronger painkillers than i was taking, which haven't worked. I am considering going back but i don't think i could wait that long again. Overall, at first it was good but i think the doctors have to work faster in the future.
