A child was referred to above by two different bodies (a health worker and a doctor) but I understand CAMHS lost or mislaid the doctors referral.
CAMHS say they cannot see children whilst a court case is ongoing (the parents of the child in question are gong through custody and divorce) but surely a child would need support and help at this time? The child has been suffering now for four years - over half of his life.
Disgraceful to let a child down when the child should be the focus and not the child's parents who happen to be going through divorce - they have separated now but the child has suffered 4 years.
