"The NHS at its best"

The initial consultation, the MRI scan, the pre op visit and the day surgery were all very pleasant experiences, yes even the surgery (I did have a little pain when the anaesthetist missed with the first stab at the back of my hand but he struck red on my wrist on the second attempt) The staff are wonderful and make a very worrying thing a nice, relaxing experience from the receptionist by the entrance to the surgeon, they all treat you as a friend not a name on a worksheet. The quality of the equipment and the cleanliness are top class and the cafe has very nice food and decent coffee at a fair price.
