"Visit to A&E and Willow ward"

About: Barnet Hospital

My 18 year old daughter was referred to Barnet Urgent Care unit by a doctor at a walk in centre in Edmonton after she'd phoned around to find a hospital that had an ENT doctor on call. She was admitted into hospital with quinsy (a large & painful peritonsillar abscess) for intravenous antibiotic treatment and drainage of the abscess. From the receptionist in Urgent Care to the doctor who treated her I cannot fault the treatment she received. In particular I would like to thank the nurses in A&E majors who took the time to explain everything and who were so kind and caring as well as the staff on Willow ward. It was quite a traumatic experience for her but made so much easier by the staff at Barnet hospital, Thank you.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave a positive feedback regarding the care your daughter received at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust. Your praise will now be forwarded to the senior management team who are responsible for the management of the A&E department.
