My 18 year old daughter was referred to Barnet Urgent Care unit by a doctor at a walk in centre in Edmonton after she'd phoned around to find a hospital that had an ENT doctor on call. She was admitted into hospital with quinsy (a large & painful peritonsillar abscess) for intravenous antibiotic treatment and drainage of the abscess. From the receptionist in Urgent Care to the doctor who treated her I cannot fault the treatment she received. In particular I would like to thank the nurses in A&E majors who took the time to explain everything and who were so kind and caring as well as the staff on Willow ward. It was quite a traumatic experience for her but made so much easier by the staff at Barnet hospital, Thank you.
